Scream 7
Seventh film in the Scream Collection, following Scream VI from 2023. Sidney Prescott has built a new life in a quiet town, and it holds until a new Ghostface killer surfaces and makes her daughter the next target. Her darkest fears realized, Sidney has to confront the horrors of her past to end the bloodshed for good. The tagline, burn it all down, suggests how far she is prepared to go.
Neve Campbell returns as Sidney Prescott, now Sidney Evans, and Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers. Isabel May plays Tatum Evans, Sidney's daughter, with Celeste O'Connor as Chloe Parker and Jasmin Savoy Brown as Mindy Meeks-Martin. Kevin Williamson directs. Rated R, running 1h 54m. Newcomers can follow the story, but the weight of Sidney's history comes from the earlier films, starting with the 1996 original.
IMDb has it at 5.5 from about 47 thousand votes, the lowest mark in the series: the 1996 Scream holds 7.4, and Scream VI stands at 6.4. No Kinopoisk score has been recorded for this entry.
