Rooster

An author finds himself on a college campus, working through a complicated relationship with his daughter. That is the whole setup of this comedy series, and the tagline is the joke: he's here to learn. The listing gives no more of the plot than that, so the specifics of what brings him to campus are left for the episodes themselves.

Steve Carell plays Greg Russo, with Charly Clive as Katie Russo. Danielle Deadwyler is Dylan Shepard and Phil Dunster plays Archie Bates. It is rated TV-MA, and neither a director nor an episode length appears in the listing. Since the father-daughter dynamic is the throughline, begin with the first episode.

Kinopoisk users have rated it 7.5. IMDb shows 7129 votes but no score in the listing.
