Rise of the Conqueror
Rise of the Conqueror is a historical war epic set in the 14th-century, as the Silk Road crumbles and rival factions tear the land apart. Timur, a fearless warrior, comes back from exile stripped of everything and sets out to unite the fractured kingdoms through strategy and sheer will. The synopsis notes where this leads: undefeated in battle and one of history's most brutal commanders, he would go on to found the Timurid Empire, which ruled over modern-day Afghanistan, Iran and Central Asia.
Christian Mortensen plays Timur. Mahesh Jadu appears as Hussayn, Joshua Jo as Ilias, Yulduz Rajabova as Aljai and Sayed Badreya as Kay Khusrau. Jacob Schwarz directs; his earlier work is Christmas with The Chosen: The Messengers. The film runs 1h 59m and is listed as NR.
Its IMDb rating is 6.5 from 127 votes.
His legacy will be written in fire and blood.
