Rex - Vienna Calling
Trailer unavailableRex - Vienna Calling puts a German Shepherd named Rex at the centre of the Vienna homicide division. He works alongside Commissioner Max Steiner, Inspector Felix Burger and their boss Major Evelyn Leitner, with pathologist Dr. Tom Wippler backing them up. For Max, Rex is more than a four-legged colleague: the two share a home. Max is single and still bruised by the separation from his ex-wife Sarah, and life gets lively again when his adult daughter Anna returns from South America, because where the daughter is, the mother is never far away.
Maximilian Brückner plays Max Steiner, Ferdinand Seebacher plays Felix Burger and Doris Golpashin plays Evelyn Leitner. Sophie Borchhardt is Anna Lang and Alfred Dorfer is Dr. Tom Wippler. The series has no director listed. It mixes crime, mystery and action, and each episode is built around a case, so it can be picked up at any point.
On IMDb it currently has 6.9, from a very small pool of 9 votes.
