Panda Plan: The Magical Tribe
Panda Plan: The Magical Tribe is the second entry in the Panda Plan Collection, after the 2024 original Panda Plan. The panda Huhu is about to move into a brand new enclosure when international robbers turn up to grab him. In the scuffle he falls off a cliff and wakes up somewhere else entirely, in the middle of a mysterious tribe. The only way back to the enclosure is to help the tribe with its many problems, and that is exactly what this odd team sets out to do.
Jackie Chan plays a version of himself, credited as Jackie. Ma Li appears as the Patriarch, Yinglu Wang as Princess Shayi, Yu Yang as Tu Lu and Shan Qiao as Shan. Derek Hui Wang-Yu directs, following I Am Nobody and Cross Fire. The family action-comedy runs 1h 40m and has not been given an age rating.
IMDb voters put the sequel at 4.6 from 143 votes, below the first film's 5.1. Panda Plan also carries a 7.6 on Kinopoisk, where the new film is not yet rated.
