Lead Children

Lead Children is a drama series about a young doctor who discovers that children living near a smelting plant are suffering from lead poisoning. Once she understands what is happening, she risks her career and her safety to save them, running into the political and industrial interests that would rather the problem stayed hidden.

Joanna Kulig leads the series as Dr. Jolanta Wadowska-Król. Agata Kulesza plays Prof. Krystyna Berger, Zbigniew Zamachowski is Zdzislaw Grudzien, Kinga Preis appears as Wiesia Wilczek and Michal Zurawski plays Hubert Niedziela. The listing names no director. The series carries a TV-MA rating, so it deals with its subject without softening it, and there is no collection to catch up on first: start with the first episode.

Viewers have rated it 7.5 on Kinopoisk and 7.5 on IMDb from 2996 votes, an unusually close agreement between the two audiences.
