New Mother-in-law

The second film in the Mother-in-law Collection, following Mother-in-law from 2023. Viktor Suslov is back in the maelstrom of family passions, this time under the thumb of a new mother-in-law with her own strict house rules. Life gets harder when Viktor's twin brother Tokha turns up unannounced, the old enmity between the brothers flares again with some help from the mother-in-law, and FSIN officers appear on the doorstep looking for Tokha. A comedy about a household coming apart at the seams.

The first film is not required to follow this one. Garik Kharlamov plays both Viktor and Tokha. Mariya Aronova is Galina, Larisa Guzeeva plays Olga Nikolaevna, Nastasya Samburskaya is Varya and Sergey Burunov appears as Boris Ivanovich, with Katerina Kovalchuk as Olya. Askar Uzabaev, whose earlier work includes Batyrlar, directs. The film runs 1h 36m; no age rating is listed.
