The First Jasmine
Trailer unavailableThe First Jasmine opens with a double wedding: eldest daughter Ye Li marries the crippled Prince Mo Xiuyao, while her sister Ye Ying weds Prince Mo Jinglei the same day. Ye Li is a descendant of Lishan and has come to avenge the wrongs done to her clan, a purpose she keeps hidden. Her husband suspects her, and he is concealing a revenge plan of his own; wary at first, the two gradually become allies. Meanwhile Prince Jinglei is plotting to seize the throne.
Bai Lu plays Ye Li and Ryan Cheng is Mo Xiuyao, with Cai Zhengjie as Mo Jingli and Yang Shuyi as Ye Ying. Lam Yuk Fan directs this period drama series; earlier credits include Eternal Love and Love O2O. The listing leaves out both episode length and age rating. The alliances shift from episode to episode, so it is one to follow from the start.
IMDb users rate it 7.8 from 295 votes, with no Kinopoisk score recorded so far.
