Max Verstappen - New Ground
Max Verstappen - New Ground is a documentary series that follows the four-time Formula 1 world champion as he sets up his own racing team. Alongside that project, the Dutchman goes all out to transform sim racer Chris Lulham into a professional racing driver, which gives the series a second thread: whether skill built in a simulator can survive a real car.
Everyone appears as themselves. Max Verstappen and Chris Lulham are at the centre, with Jos Verstappen and Robert Lulham around them and Gianni Vecchio and Atze Kerkhof also on screen. There is no credited director and no age rating in the listing. Episodes run about 30m each, so the whole run is a short commitment, and there is no earlier season to catch up on.
Early reaction is thin: the series holds a 7.0 on IMDb from just 38 votes, and there is no Kinopoisk score yet.
