Marave
Trailer unavailableMarave is an action-comedy about two brothers who could hardly be less alike. Manolo is a gentle, naive fairground worker; Georges is a con man who walked out on the family twenty years ago. Their father's illness brings them back together, and Georges, desperate to prove he is not a failure, hits on a plan: Manolo is physically strong, so why not turn him into an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) champion? The comedy comes from the gap between that scheme and the man it is built around.
Redouane Bougheraba plays Manolo and Ava Baya plays Alba. Nathanaël Guedj and Adrien Piquet-Gauthier direct; their earlier work includes Classico. The film runs 1h 32m, and no age rating has been listed.
On IMDb the film stands at 5.5 from 113 votes; there is no Kinopoisk rating yet.
