Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness: An Almost History of America
Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness: An Almost History of America is a comedy series that takes an improvised, comedic approach to major events in American history, made in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The word "almost" in the title is doing a lot of work, and the tagline, "He can tell a lie," makes clear that accuracy is not the point.
Larry David plays various characters across the episodes. The cast also includes Jon Hamm, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Susie Essman, whose roles are not specified, along with Jake Reiner as Private Wallace, Anna Osceola as Agnes and Misha Suvorov as Soldier. No director is listed. The series is rated TV-MA, and episode length is not given. Because each episode tackles a different historical event, you can dip in anywhere.
IMDb users have rated the series 6.6 from 1822 votes. No Kinopoisk score is recorded.
