Ladies First
An arrogant, charismatic ladies' man has built a comfortable life out of money, power and casual flings. Then he wakes up in a parallel world dominated by women, where everything that made his life easy now works against him. The comedy comes from watching him try his usual tricks in a place that has already seen through them, and the fantasy premise is mostly an excuse for that reversal.
Sacha Baron Cohen plays Damien Sachs, with Rosamund Pike as Alex Fox, Emily Mortimer as Sunny Black and Tom Davis as Chris Black. Fiona Shaw, Richard E. Grant and Charles Dance fill out the ensemble. Thea Sharrock directs; her earlier films include Me Before You and Wicked Little Letters. At 1h 34m it is a short comedy, and its R rating suggests the humour does not hold back.
