God's Shirt
Trailer unavailableGod's Shirt begins with the 1986 World Cup in Mexico and the match between Argentina and England in which Diego Maradona scored two goals that meant far more than sport to a nation still scarred by the Falklands War. Decades later, the jersey he wore that day goes to auction. That news sets a humble kit man, a man shaped by profound loss, on a final journey that makes him face his past and the broken relationship with his daughter. It is a comedy-drama, with the football as backdrop rather than subject.
Jorge Marrale plays Tití Malvestiti and Natalia Oreiro plays Erika Malvestiti. Zoe Peralta appears as Cata, Facundo Antman as Kevin and Rafael Ferro as Ricky, with Paola Barrientos and Daniel Lambertini also in the cast. Fernán Mirás directs; his earlier film is Expiration Date. The source lists no running time or age rating.
IMDb users have given it 6.7 from 66 votes.
