Kentucky Roses
Sadie works in the greenhouse at Churchill Downs and dreams of designing the rose garland for the Kentucky Derby. Ash is the son of the track's CEO, hiding who he is so he can prove himself on his own merits. When a storm damages the venue two weeks before the big race, the two have to team up to repair the Twin Spires and save the traditional rose blanket. Along the way they uncover a 1932 connection between their families, a romance torn apart by class, and have to reckon with that history before deciding their own future.
Odette Annable plays Sadie Moore and Andrew W. Walker is Ashley 'Ash' Taylor. Gregg Henry appears as Frank Reed, Peyton Meyer as Lefty and Ally Ledford as Gloria Green, with Brynn Thayer also in the cast. Clare Niederpruem directs; her earlier films include Little Women and Her Pen Pal. This made-for-television romance runs 1h 24m.
On IMDb it holds a 7.1 from 370 votes; Kinopoisk has no score listed.
