Viral Hit
Trailer unavailableViral Hit follows a high schooler who has spent his days being bullied until a single viral video makes him an overnight sensation. Fame arrives faster than he can handle it, and when it turns sour he is left with no choice but to learn how to fight for himself. The tagline cuts it to three words: "Bullied. Broken. Viral."
The series is a drama with a strong action-adventure streak, and its episodes run around 50m. Oji Suzuka plays Kota Shimura, with Ai Mikami as Aki Yashio, Araki Sugou as Toru Kaneko, nicknamed "Kanegon", Nana Asakawa as Rumi Meguro and Meru Nukumi as Kaho Asamiya; Mieko Harada also appears. Hideki Takeuchi directs, having previously made Cells at Work! and Daughter of Lupin. It is rated TV-MA, so the bullying and the fights are not softened. Start at episode one, as the story tracks a single rise and its fallout.
IMDb users rate it 7 from 756 votes; there is no Kinopoisk score yet.
