How Derevyanko Chekhov Played

How Derevyanko Chekhov Played is a 2026 comedy series in which the actor Pavel Derevyanko plays a version of himself. After losing the role of Lomonosov to another actor, Pavel sets his sights on another weighty part, Chekhov, convinced that a serious dramatic image will finally earn him critical acclaim. Filming has barely started when it emerges that the playwright's great-granddaughter Margarita Vasilyevna, living in Taganrog, has forbidden any film about Anton Pavlovich. Pavel goes back to his hometown to win her over and discovers that the price of the role is sorting out every conflict in her family.
Alongside Pavel Derevyanko as Pavel, the cast includes Viktor Dobronravov as Viktor, Maksim Lagashkin as Maksim, Roman Evdokimov as Roman, Andrey Nekrasov as Chekhov and Elena Simonova as Margarita Vasilyevna. Fyodor Stukov directs, after The Coach and Lanky Girls. Episodes run about 24m; no age rating is listed.
Kinopoisk users rate the series 6.4. IMDb has no published score, with 16 votes so far.
