Joe's College Road Trip
Joe's College Road Trip is the latest entry in the Madea Collection, arriving after Madea's Destination Wedding in 2025. This time the focus shifts to Madea's foul-mouthed brother Joe, who decides his sheltered, college-bound grandson needs a lesson in the real world. His method is a raucous cross-country road trip, and as the tagline warns, this ain't no field trip.
Tyler Perry plays Joe, and also appears as Brian and as Madea. Jermaine Harris is BJ, Amber Reign Smith is Destiny, Bethany Anne Lind is Vikki and Kyle Fuller turns up as an FBI agent. The bundle does not say who directed. The comedy runs 1h 49m and is rated R for its language. Familiarity with the earlier films helps with the characters but is not required.
On IMDb the film scores 5.4 from 2410 votes, slightly above the 5.1 of Madea's Destination Wedding, which also holds 5.0 on Kinopoisk; the new film has no Kinopoisk rating yet.
