Harry Potter

The series starts where the story of Harry Potter always starts: with a boy his Aunt Petunia insists is nothing special. On his 11th birthday a letter of admittance to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry opens a hidden world of fun, friendship and magic. The adventure comes with real risk, as Harry is forced to face a dangerous enemy from his past. The tagline promises a new era of Hogwarts, and this is the ground floor of it.

Dominic McLaughlin plays Harry Potter, with Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. Alongside them are John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape and Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall. No director is named in the credits. This is the beginning of the story, so start with the first episode; the TV-14 rating fits a family adventure that still has a dangerous enemy in it.

A new era of Hogwarts begins.
