Love Between Lines
Love Between Lines is a 2026 romantic mystery series that starts inside a game. Xiao Zhiyu and Hu Xiu meet through a Republic of China-themed murder mystery experience, a scripted world of falling snow and spies lurking in the shadows, where the two feel a spark neither expected. An unexpected reunion outside the game reveals the truth about who each of them really is. From there the story moves between the misaligned time-spaces of reality and the script, as the pair grow through a bond that crosses both.
Chen Xingxu plays Xiao Zhiyu and Lu Yuxiao plays Hu Xiu; the two of them carry the series, and it is best taken from the first episode, since the game and the reunion set up everything that follows. Shuang Yuan directs, previously responsible for When I Fly Towards You and Let's Meet Now. Episodes run around 43m.
Early audience response is strong: the series holds 8.4 on IMDb from 351 votes.
