DTF St. Louis

Three adults in the grip of middle-age malaise drift into a love triangle, and by the end of it one of them is dead. That is the whole premise the synopsis gives away, and the series treats it as both comedy and drama, letting the awkwardness of the arrangement sit alongside the fact of a body. The tagline warns that you never know which way a friendship will swing.

Jason Bateman plays Clark Forrest, David Harbour is Floyd Smernitch and Linda Cardellini plays Carol Love-Smernitch, with Richard Jenkins as Donoghue Homer. Directing credits are absent from the source. The show is rated TV-MA, and since it is a single unfolding story, the first episode is the only sensible entry point.

Kinopoisk users have it at 6.9. IMDb shows about 12 thousand votes, but no average is recorded in the data.
