Snake 5: Monster City
Trailer unavailableSnake 5: Monster City is the latest entry in the Snake Collection, following Snake 3: Dinosaur vs. Python from 2022 and the original Snake from 2018. This time the setting is urban: prisoner Wu Chuan gets out during a monster attack and finds the whole city overrun by prehistoric creatures. His mother is trapped somewhere inside it, and on the way to her he ends up leading a last-ditch effort to stop an ancient beast from levelling everything.
The films are stand-alone creature features, so you can start here without the earlier ones. Zhang Aoyue plays Wu Chuan, Liang Songqing is Tai Ya, Bao Bei'er plays Ban Erza, Jiang Chao is Li Shengjie and Mao Fan appears as Scarface. Lin Zhenzhao, who made the first Snake as well as Restart the Earth, directs this 2026 action-fantasy-horror; no runtime or age rating is listed yet, and neither are any audience ratings.
