Cold War 1994
Cold War 1994 is the third entry in the Cold War Collection, following Cold War II from 2016. The story goes back to 1994, when the kidnapping of a tycoon shook Hong Kong and threatened its financial standing. With much of the police force chasing personal gain, OCID Superintendent Li Wenbin risks everything to work through the competing interests and expose what really happened.
Tony Leung Ka-fai plays M.B. Lee, with Terrance Lau Chun-Him as the younger version of the same character. Chow Yun-Fat appears as Oswald S.C. Kan and Aaron Kwok as Sean Lau. Wu Kang-ren, Tse Kwan-Ho and Fish Liew Chi-Yu play the Keswyk Poon family at the centre of the kidnapping, and Louise Wong Tan-Nei is Jodie Yuen. Leung Lok-Man, who directed both earlier Cold War films and Anita, returns. Runtime is 1h 57m; the film is rated NR.
On IMDb it scores 6.5 from 602 votes, a touch below the 6.6 held by both Cold War and Cold War II. No Kinopoisk rating is listed for this entry.
