The Black Countess
For the past year a sensational theatrical event has been running in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Tickets cost millions and there is only one seat in the hall, yet there is no shortage of people wanting it. The format blurs the line between fiction and reality: you can be present without appearing, and expose the problems of society while standing inside it. Each performance is built piece by piece for a specific spectator by a team of screenwriters, psychologists and actors, led by a director who has already staged 11 successful shows in a row.
Kirill Käro plays Boris, Oleg Vasilkov is Igor Korovin and Yuriy Chursin plays Timur, with Ekaterina Volkova also in the cast. The mystery drama is directed by Ilya Kulikov and Ivan Korvin, whose earlier credits include VIP Cop. Start with the first episode, which introduces the show and its audience of one.
Kinopoisk viewers currently rate the series 6.9; IMDb has only 15 votes so far.
