Teach You a Lesson
Teach You a Lesson, originally titled Chamgyoyuk, follows an inspector from the Educational Rights Protection Bureau, or ERPB. The bureau is authorised by the government to use physical intervention and unconventional methods to discipline delinquent students, with the wider aim of reforming the educational system. The series treats that premise as action, drama and comedy at once, and its tagline, "Let us protect you!", carries the same mix of menace and reassurance.
Jin Ki-joo plays Im Han-rim, with Kim Moo-yul as Na Hwa-jin, Lee Sung-min as Choi Kang-seok and Pyo Ji-hoon as Bong Geun-dae. Hong Jong-chan directs; his previous series include Juvenile Justice and Her Private Life. Episodes run around 1h 10m, and the series carries a TV-MA rating. Start from the first episode to see how the inspector's mandate is set up.
On IMDb the series is rated 8.5 from 13815 votes, a high score backed by a sizeable audience.
