Can You Keep a Secret?
Can You Keep a Secret? is a 2026 comedy series about Debbie Fenton: a granny, a lawn bowler and a tinpot dictator who will stop at nothing to keep her family protected. The catch is that the person they most often need protecting from is Debbie herself. When her hermit-like husband William dies unexpectedly, she makes an outlandish decision that puts the whole family under more pressure than it has ever faced.
Dawn French leads as Debbie Fendon, with Mark Heap as William, Craig Roberts as Harold 'Harry' and Mandip Gill as Neha. Episodes run around 28m, so the series moves at sitcom pace. Because the plot turns on a decision made early on, it is worth starting from the first episode rather than dipping in midway.
Audience response has been reasonably positive: the series holds 6.7 on IMDb from 761 votes.
