Black Box
Black Box is a horror-thriller confined to one aircraft. A routine domestic flight turns into the flight from hell as inexplicable phenomena pile up and the passengers are pushed into raw terror. Surreal encounters blur the boundary between reality and nightmare, and the people on board have to survive bizarre technological malfunctions, accelerating supernatural events and alien influences all at once. The tagline asks the question the film exists to answer: what happened to Flight 298?
Tom Brittney plays Jeremey and Holly White plays Emma. Betsy Blue-English appears as Rachel, Dane Whyte O'Hara as Brad, Kaja Chan as Chen and Georgina Leonidas as Yasmin, with Anton Trendafilov as Sickly Old Man. Steven Quale directs; his earlier films include Final Destination 5 and Into the Storm. It runs 1h 25m and is rated R.
Audience scores are lukewarm: 5.4 on Kinopoisk and 5.0 on IMDb from 2531 votes.
